Some information on changes to trains, buses, pharmacies and supermarkets over Easter weekend 2024.

00:00 The Easter weekend is about to commence, meaning public services may not be operating as usual over the coming days.
00:06 Here is some guidance on openings and closings across Glasgow.
00:10 ScotRail will largely run as normal, though some services passing through Motherwell will be affected by Engineering Works.
00:16 Replacement buses can be found on the app.
00:19 First Bus Greater Glasgow will be operating on a normal timetable through most of the holiday, though will reduce to a Sunday service on Easter Monday.
00:27 A number of supermarkets will also be reducing their hours.
00:30 Asda, Lidl, Morrisons and Sainsbury's will all be closed on Easter Sunday, but will open as usual or close to usual hours over the rest of the weekend.
00:39 Most Tesco stores will remain open, though people planning to visit have been urged to check online as hours may vary depending on location.
00:46 All chemists located in health care centres will be closed on the 1st of April, but will be open on Good Friday.
00:52 A number of Boots pharmacies throughout the city centre will remain open, however, as well as larger Asda stores in the East End.
