00:00 Oh, okay you guys stop clapping when I got to the mic, that's great.
00:07 Wonderful, this is a dream.
00:09 I'm a comedian so you guys can just go for it because I find a lot of musicians take themselves very seriously.
00:14 I was up there thanking drugs and alcohol for making the album possible so just let it rip.
00:20 I'm not sure exactly what's going on right now, I feel like this is an intervention.
00:24 Question? No question?
00:30 I've got two questions and then we can throw it out to the crowd.
00:32 So how does it feel to win in such a stat category?
00:35 I genuinely was shocked because we all just assumed that May Martin was going to win because they have a Netflix show and a Netflix special
00:44 so everybody just kind of came into this just this was a total write-off and so when they actually said my name it's genuine shock.
00:51 When I was going up to that set I am like just a puddle in a shirt right now.
00:55 I am so sweaty and just full diarrhea, I'm sorry.
00:58 I'm just saying it was really truly unexpected.
01:01 And this poor, one of these kids gave me this card which is so cute but it was for a musician, I'm like sorry.
01:10 And you were in the Juno comedy show on Friday, how'd that go?
01:14 Oh that was an absolute dream.
01:16 Tell us about it.
01:17 It was me, Laurie Elliot, Graham Clark, Derek Seguin and it was over at the Dartmouth Ferry Station, I don't know what it's called.
01:28 It was a beautiful, what's it called?
01:30 Alderney.
01:31 Alderney, yep, I've been drinking.
01:34 And it totally sold out crowd, they were so generous, an unforgettable experience, unforgettable show and just an amazing lineup.
01:43 Okay, so we have time for one question, right there.
01:47 Yeah, I was listening to your speech over there, Riley Murphy with Seaside FM.
01:50 You thanked drugs and alcohol for making the album possible, which one specifically so I can hopefully be as funny as you?
01:56 [Laughter]
02:00 Coke.
02:01 [Laughter]
02:03 Definitely Coke, Coke is great, if you haven't done it, try it.
02:05 The first time I did it was in Dartmouth, so there you go.
02:08 Full circle.
02:09 And that's all the time we have, thank you.
02:11 Thank you, thank you.
02:13 [Applause]
02:17 (whooshing)
