00:03 This show is important to understand what
00:07 we know as Miss Dior today.
00:10 My name is Maisie Williams, and I play Catherine Dior,
00:13 the muse and little sister of Christine Dior,
00:16 known today for inspiring Miss Dior perfume.
00:19 But what many people don't know is
00:21 that Catherine was also a war hero and a concentration camp
00:24 survivor.
00:25 I came to this show being a huge fan of Dior as a fashion house.
00:29 They had a lot to tell me about Catherine and Dior's family.
00:32 It is such an incredible story.
00:34 She joined the French resistance and severs
00:37 almost every part of herself in order for others to live.

00:44 After the war, she has to repair pieces of herself.
00:49 She wanted to create something beautiful out of the despair.
00:53 Catherine really represented a lot of compassion and care
00:56 and love to Christian.
00:58 I made something--
01:00 Of you.
01:01 She helped him create this empire
01:03 through some of the most painful moments in history.
01:06 My inspiration.
01:08 Her story is not necessarily one of beauty,
01:12 but one of resilience and survival.
01:14 I am honored to meet you, Miss Dior.
01:17 To find the human relatable story was very important
01:23 and a huge justice to these people.
01:26 We get to highlight that in this show.
