Breezy and blustery with sunny spells and scattered showers for the rest of the week which may be heavy bringing hail, thunder and snow. Remaining unsettled into next week with a risk of snow.

00:00 Hello there. A cold front will bring cloudy skies and patchy outbreaks of rain on Friday

00:09 across Wales and southern and central England, which will gradually clear southwards during

00:14 the day. Further north will be brighter but windy, with sunny spells and showers, and

00:18 some of these will be heavy, bringing hail and thunder. Showers will be most frequent

00:23 across Scotland, where there may also be wintry over the hills, and there's a threat of

00:27 gales in the north-west. Saturday will bring a mixture of sunny spells and scattered showers,

00:32 and these are possible quite widely, and many places will actually see multiple showers

00:36 during the day. Some showers may be heavy, bringing hail and thunder, and again will

00:40 continue to be wintry over the Scottish hills. A blustery day quite widely on Saturday, with

00:45 brisk westerly winds, and a continued threat of gales in the north-west. Showers will then

00:50 tend to ease as we move into Sunday, and will become few and far between, and mostly across

00:54 northern and eastern areas. There will be longer breaks between the showers, with more

00:58 in the way of sunshine, but cloud cover will tend to build in from the south-west later.

01:03 Cloud cover will then continue to thicken from the south-west on Sunday night and into

01:07 Monday as rain pushes northwards, and then as this rain breaches colder air across Scotland

01:12 on Monday, there is a threat of some snow.
