00:02 Well, it all starts on a Saturday afternoon, with a man getting bored.

00:06 And a man who gets bored can create great things, especially if it's Walt Disney.

00:10 The latter was sitting on a bench watching his two daughters have fun on a carousel,

00:14 while he, too big for that kind of thing, was deprived of any kind of fun.

00:17 That's when he had the idea of creating an amusement park suitable for everyone.

00:21 A family park that would entertain both children and their parents.

00:25 And as he had already created with Disney an easily adaptable universe,

00:29 a few years later, the first Disneyland opened its doors in California.

00:32 But be careful, it's not him, the biggest amusement park in the world.

00:35 Quite the opposite, it is even to this day the smallest Disneyland on the planet.

00:38 However, once the park opened to the public, Walt Disney was not satisfied.

00:42 He wanted to create a second park, but this time a much larger park.

00:45 To do this, he contacted the state of Florida to obtain the necessary authorizations.
