Godshard Chronicles is a top-down action RPG based in the high fantasy world of Alban, where the gods have fallen, and their remains exist only in pieces known as godshards. Join Adanna and Ruby as they progress through the ranks of the Mana Knights and chase down Adanna's lost father while discovering the mysteries behind the titular Godshard. Adventure in the world solo, or bring along a friend in local co-op!

Action Combat + Two-Player Co-Op

Fast-Paced and Seamless: Our real-time combat system leaves no pause in the action, even during spellcasting, special attacks, and item use! In addition, players can level up their magic spells and special abilities, increasing their effectiveness and ferocity. For instance, a leveled-up Iceshot spell will shoot several icicles instead of just one.

Two-Player Co-op and Character Swapping. RPGs should be enjoyed by more than one active participant. In our game, co-op will be available from the very beginning. Players will share the same screen, and Player 2 can drop in or out anytime by connecting a second controller!

If a player is solo, the AI will control the other party member to assist in battle. Players can also swap to the other party member if they desire. We will explore this mechanic in our level and environmental design as well. Players will utilise co-op (or character swapping) to help solve puzzles, evade traps, and more!

Melee vs. Projectiles: Although players will typically fight in close quarters with the sword, some enemies and puzzles will require the use of magical projectiles such as Iceshot and Fireball. Each character will also have special attacks in both melee and projectile form.
