00:12 After the headline-making Photoshop fail on Britain's Mother's Day, Middleton was reportedly
00:16 finally seen walking alongside her husband, Prince William, near Windsor Castle in footage
00:21 shot over the weekend and verified by TMZ.
00:24 However, many remain skeptical on if this is in fact the royal, as the palace has yet
00:29 to verify or comment on the validity of the video.
00:32 Now speculation around the royal has moved to a second image she shared that was deemed
00:37 to have been altered.
00:38 On Tuesday, an image she shared in April 2023 was deemed by Getty Images to have been manipulated.
00:44 The portrait of the late Queen Elizabeth with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren,
00:48 taken by the princess on a trip to Balmoral Castle in Scotland in 2022, was released by
00:53 Buckingham Palace on what would have been the late monarch's 97th birthday.
00:58 A spokesperson for Getty said, "Getty Images has reviewed the image in question and placed
01:03 an editor's note on it, stating that the image has been digitally enhanced at source."
01:07 Conspiracy theories have been running rampant regarding the Princess of Wales after it was
01:12 announced that she was recovering from a planned abdominal surgery.
01:15 Known for her public-facing persona, Middleton was last widely seen at Christmas Eve mass
01:20 with the family at the end of last year.
01:22 The palace had issued a statement in January saying Middleton is unlikely to return to
01:26 public duties until after Easter.
01:28 However, the last-minute and seemingly vague announcement, coupled with Prince William
01:33 at the last minute cancelling his February appearance at the memorial service of his
01:37 godfather, didn't quiet any speculation on the princess' whereabouts.
01:41 Suspicions turned to headline news when on March 10, Kensington Palace shared a photo
01:46 supposedly taken by Prince William this year of Middleton with their three kids.
01:50 But photo agencies quickly deemed the picture manipulated.
01:54 The princess then issued an apology for the altered image, which had undergone 17 edits.
01:59 Now this, as well as two grainy paparazzi shots of the princess supposedly with her
02:03 mother and William, only fueled the fire as both mainstream media and social media users
02:08 exploded with theories about the health of the princess and the future king and queen's
02:12 marriage, with rumors about an affair between William and the couple's close friend Rose
02:16 Hanbury.
02:18 As for an official statement from the palace, the last came on February 29th when palace
02:22 officials felt compelled to repeat that news on her health would come only if there was
02:27 anything significant to be said.
