00:00 Like you said, this story really tests faith of the characters as well.

00:04 What would you say has tested your faith the most throughout the years?

00:09 Oh, man. Loss, I think, too.

00:13 You know, not necessarily a test of faith,

00:16 but in a way that you revisit it,

00:18 that ultimately I'm very grateful to say that it strengthened it.

00:23 But I think often that can be what a test is,

00:25 not necessarily like you're running away from anything.

00:29 But that it's rewiring it in you, too,

00:32 only making it stronger.

00:34 So the loss of my dad in 2015 was definitely very difficult,

00:40 but it was also something that made me lean on my faith

00:43 so much more than I otherwise ever had to

00:48 in such a large capacity.

00:50 How about you, Mom?

00:51 Oh, yeah.

00:52 Well, a lot of the terrible things that happened in my life,

00:55 unfortunately, were also very public.

00:57 And so everything was heightened, heightened, tightened.

01:01 And had I not had a firm grip on the hand of God,

01:06 I would have never made it through.

01:08 I never would.

01:09 So, you know, they're well chronicled.

01:11 Well, the truth isn't out there about them,

01:14 but, you know, people knew what was going on.

01:17 And it's funny, not a day goes by that somebody doesn't come up to me

01:21 and say something about, "When I saw how you came through that,"

01:24 or, "I stayed in my marriage because you did."

01:27 And, "Because I thought if she can do it, I can do it."

01:29 And, you know, that makes things a little easier knowing that,

01:33 you know, there was purpose to it as well.

01:35 That there's in suffering, there's often God has a purpose for it

01:38 beyond your own suffering.

01:41 You know, people can relate to...

01:43 A lot of people can't relate to celebrities.

01:45 You know, they think our lives is just perfect and all.

01:47 And, you know, couldn't be further from the truth.

01:49 But when they see you go through just real life stuff like they do,

01:55 it's an opportunity for us to express that we live in hope.

02:00 You know, I don't live in the hope of a next role

02:04 or more money or more any of those things.

02:07 I live in the hope of, first of all,

02:10 just a life with my God in this world, but beyond it, you know, eternal hope.

02:16 But in the meantime, we've got to get through today.

02:18 Right, yes.

02:20 No, it's so true.

02:20 We all need so much help.

02:22 And every... We're all weak, really weak.

02:25 Yeah.

02:26 And the older I get, the weaker I feel.

02:28 So, I mean, I feel stronger.

02:31 My arms are better.

02:32 You know, I've been working out, but I'm not so...

02:34 Otherwise, I just feel weak about stuff.

02:36 Her filter has become very weak.

02:38 That's right.

02:39 You've had it all flying out.

02:42 I would not have lasted one day in today's world
