00:03 A number that stood out to both of us, Donnie, last night, the New Orleans Pelicans.

00:06 A 7.5 point strong road favorite in Brooklyn against the Nets.

00:11 And the number was very, very correct.

00:13 The Pels win by 13 on the road, 104-91.

00:18 New Orleans now, as they are starting to play really good basketball,

00:21 have won seven of eight.

00:23 And they have covered in all seven games they have won and covered.

00:27 They've also been booked as the favorite side.

00:29 >> Yeah, Pelicans looking to be one of those teams that might be able to do some

00:32 damage as long as they keep themselves in the top six.

00:35 Which right now, they're firmly entrenched,

00:36 roughly a two and a half game lead over the Dallas Mavericks.

00:39 And also the Kings here that currently sit in that sixth position.

00:42 And then you take a look at the Brooklyn Nets,

00:43 one of those teams that you thought might be able to challenge

00:45 to get into the play-in tournament.

00:47 That's not gonna happen anymore.

00:48 Way too many injuries, 28 and a half games back, by the way,

00:51 of the Boston Celtics, but quite frankly, three and a half games

00:54 back of the Atlanta Hawks just to get to that tenth seed.

00:56 That's not gonna happen, they're right off getting into the lottery,

00:58 getting some ping pong balls here.

01:03 You gotta beat these teams, that improves your standings.
