President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has repeatedly defended the right of the territory of a country that does not use force.

In his interview with Bloomberg TV, the President also said that his sovereign country is based on international law,

particularly the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea or UNCLOS.

The President also said that the search for a peaceful solution to the conflict in the West Philippine Sea continues,

even though the defense mutual agreement with the US is being held.

President Marcos also reiterated that the Philippines should not be a source of trouble in the region.

The President is confident that the Philippines can use the 8% GDP growth under his term,

especially since the government is working hard to use it.

However, the President still recognizes that inflation is still a threat to the country,

so he has set a time limit to lower the interest rate of the Philippines.
