00:18 is the most adventurous, rugged,

00:20 and exploration-ready version of the Sorento yet.

00:35 is unquestionably the best-looking ever,

00:37 and Kia's given it some design updates for 2024.

00:40 The larger, more upright grille

00:42 aids the X-Pro's rugged impression,

00:44 while full LED headlights have amber accents

00:46 that won't be confused for something else

00:48 in the rear-view mirror.

00:49 New Road Rider brown paint, seen here on the X-Pro,

00:53 looks outdoorsy whether it's spotlessly clean

00:55 or covered in dirt.

00:57 Another nice upgrade for 2024

00:58 is Kia's latest CCNC infotainment suite,

01:02 which combines two 12.3-inch digital displays

01:05 ahead of the driver.

01:06 It's a lot faster, a lot more user-friendly,

01:08 and much more responsive than Kia's outgoing system.

01:11 Just how off-road capable is the Sorento X-Pro?

01:16 Think less Jeep Rubicon and more Honda Trail Sport.

01:19 X-Pro's spec equips the SUV with 17-inch wheels

01:23 wrapped in BFGoodrich Trail Terrain tires.

01:26 Those provide more traction on dirt

01:28 thanks to their tread pattern

01:29 and more impact absorption on pavement

01:31 due to their taller sidewall.

01:33 Otherwise, the X-Pro has the same 8.2 inches

01:36 of ground clearance as any other

01:37 all-wheel-drive-equipped Sorento,

01:39 although the X-Pro has a higher towing capacity

01:50 of a three-row family crossover as it was before,
