00:00 Good morning, it's Steph at the Doncaster Free Press and it's Monday the 18th of

00:04 March. Lovely, lovely morning. Been outside a little bit, still a bit chilly but

00:08 very spring-like, must be on its way. So we're just bringing you our

00:15 headlines today. The first one is quite an awful one I don't like to bring to

00:21 you but over the weekend you may well have already seen that there was an

00:24 accident in Armthorpe. Sadly a 68 year old woman died at the scene of that

00:31 accident, involved a pedestrian and a car. That takes the death toll on

00:36 Doncaster Road to 11 fatalities in 11 weeks. Now one's bad enough but 11 is just

00:43 ridiculous. Something clearly needs to be done. What? I don't know but our

00:48 thoughts are with that lady's family and friends at this really sad time. Then

00:54 in other news I put out yesterday afternoon some information from the

01:00 police. The 16 most wanted men in South Yorkshire. There's some from Doncaster,

01:05 there's some from Barnes and Sheffield, from all over South Yorkshire but of

01:08 course they could be anywhere. We've got photographs of all them, the

01:12 offences that they're wanted for and contact details for the police if you do

01:16 see them or know where they are. And then finally another one that was sent out

01:20 to the police. There was an operation carried out on Friday. The police sent out some of

01:25 their cadets doing test purchasing in local shops to see if they sold

01:32 underage items, tobacco, alcohol, that sort of thing, to people clearly underage.

01:38 Thankfully all the shops passed, not one of them sold to an underage person which

01:45 is brilliant news. That said at the same time they were at one shop and they

01:49 spotted that a man was outside smoking a cannabis joint. They went over to

01:54 have a chat with him and they found that he was carrying a substantial amount of

01:58 the drug on him, far too much for personal use so he was arrested for

02:04 possession with intent to supply. So all in all a very good operation. So for
