00:00 G'day everyone and welcome to day one of the 2024 Wingham Show.
00:04 The stock horse ring is currently running there at the moment while everyone else is bumping in.
00:09 The hall's all been judged, all the artwork and the kids art, the fruit, the vegetables, they're all being judged as we speak.
00:14 I'm John, I'm here judging the fruit and vegetables today.
00:19 Some pretty good entries here.
00:21 I'm Herbert from the main pavilion at the Wingham Show.
00:24 We've got children's art, we've got photos.
00:29 We've got handicraft, embroidery, cut flowers, vegetables.
00:36 The Showman's Guild down there setting up the rides. We've got a monstrous big ferris wheel over there.
00:41 More horse events tomorrow, all the cattle will be here, the poultry.
00:44 What else have we got? We've got the Chainsaw Racing, the Teams Race and the Jack and Jill up here in the main ring.
00:50 The speed cuts and the singles down the bottom right at the front of the showground there.
00:54 So that always makes a bit of noise and everyone gets excited about that.
00:56 We've got the Demo Derby there on Sunday.
01:00 But yeah, plenty of rides for the kids. We've got our Big Kids Fun Day there on Sunday too for all the kids to come along.
01:04 We are still going to have our band running with the bar open until late tomorrow evening.
01:09 So yeah, come on down and have a beer and listen to the band.
