Rohan Dennis has faced court for the first time since being charged with causing the death of Olympian wife Melissa Hoskins.

00:17 Today in court, prosecutors asked for another five months before the next hearing to allow

00:22 police to conduct a reconstruction of the crash.

00:26 Police declined to provide any detail about what the reconstruction would involve.

00:30 Mr Dennis' defence lawyer Jess Kurtzer asked for her client's bowel conditions to be varied

00:35 so he no longer had to report to police.

00:38 The prosecutor didn't argue against this variation and it was approved by the magistrate.

00:43 Last month, Mr Dennis attended Ms Hoskins' memorial service in Adelaide on the day she

00:48 would have celebrated her 33rd birthday.
