00:00 Today I am marching in solidarity with the people of Palestine.
00:04 We are calling for an immediate ceasefire.
00:06 We want to put pressure on our government and the governments of the world.
00:10 I'm also standing in solidarity with my brothers and sisters and siblings in the UK
00:14 to be able to exercise our democratic right to come out and protest,
00:18 which is what we've always done, and do it in peace and in love,
00:22 which is the way that I have always experienced all of the Palestinian marches and events that I've been on.
00:27 It's been a deeply unifying community experience, full of all sorts of different faiths,
00:34 all sorts of people from all walks of life, and it's always a privilege to march with them.
00:39 I think that the government stance and calling these events extremist,
00:46 I mean, you will see if you went through this crowd, there are so many Jewish people who are marching with us.
00:54 So the whole idea that marches like this are in any way threatening or extremist is total propaganda, to be honest.
