00:19 Bailey was recognized for being an outstanding force in the entertainment industry, as she's
00:24 a six-time Grammy-nominated singer and star of both the Ariel live-action movie and musical
00:29 adaptation of The Color Purple.
00:32 While giving her speech at the event, Bailey shared why she's kept her baby away from the
00:36 spotlight, stating, "What was one of the biggest highlights of my life, and to be real, one
00:40 of the biggest challenges, too, could not compare to the biggest joy of my life, and
00:45 that was becoming a mom to my perfect little angel, Halo.
00:49 There was no way in hell I was going to share the biggest joy of my world with anyone.
00:53 Halo was my gift.
00:54 He is the greatest blessing, and I had no obligation to expose him, me, or my family
