00:00 Every year our patchwork group do a raffle quilt for the proceeds to go to a local charity
00:06 and being our 40th birthday this year and being 40 being Ruby we have gone with the reds and in
00:15 our raffle quilt it's the beautiful French General red and cream Dresden plate that took us a couple
00:23 of weekends that we all get in and do and the proceeds this year are going to ride into the
00:30 disabled and our exhibition is on the 16th and 17th of March at Legacy House and it's a beautiful
00:38 exhibition with embroideries all sorts of things. This is our entrance quilt for this year being
00:44 our Ruby quilt we decided on to go with Ruby colours each many of the members took a number
00:52 and then they had to make something to go with that number for instance if there were six
00:59 Jo Swinney has done six cats to go on her mini quilt two shoes for number two and of course
01:08 they're going to be ran they're going to be random so people will be looking to find where the next
01:13 number is. The whole jigsaw puzzle of it was designed by Heather Rupel our 91 year old member
01:20 and now we have to follow her plan and put it all together to put up for at the entry for our
01:26 exhibition.
