00:11 Musaro Anna, you have never heard of it, but you know everything about this dish.
00:15 Musaro Anna is a very popular rice of South India.
00:21 We know it as Curd Rice.
00:23 There it is called Musaro Anna.
00:26 So let's learn how to make Curd Rice.
00:28 For this we need, 1 Onion, finely chopped.
00:32 For curd rice, we need mustard seeds, red chilli powder, coriander leaves, finely chopped ginger,
00:38 garlic, green chillies, red chillies, sliced onions, curry leaves, sliced tomatoes,
00:53 and cooked rice.
00:58 So let's start making Musaro Anna.
01:00 First of all, take 1 spoon of oil in a pan.
01:04 Let the oil heat up.
01:07 The oil is hot now.
01:09 Now add 1/2 spoon of mustard seeds.
01:14 Let it crackle.
01:19 The mustard seeds have crackled.
01:23 Now add curry leaves.
01:25 Add 4-5 curry leaves.
01:28 Let it cook for a while.
01:32 So that the flavour of the curry leaves gets into the oil.
01:35 Now add finely chopped ginger.
01:40 This is optional. You can avoid it if you want.
01:43 But I like the flavour of ginger in curd rice.
01:49 So I'm adding it.
01:51 The ginger is cooked.
01:53 Now add 4 cloves of garlic.
01:57 Let it cook for a while.
01:59 Now add onions.
02:04 Add 2 spoons or half of an onion.
02:09 Saute it.
02:13 Cook the onions till they turn pink.
02:18 The onions have turned pink.
02:23 Now add some green chillies.
02:27 Add 1 green chilli or as much as you like.
02:35 Add some whole red chillies.
02:39 It will look colourful and nice.
02:42 So we add 2 whole red chillies.
02:46 Now add some red chilli powder.
02:52 Add 1/2 spoon of red chilli powder.
02:55 Mix it well.
03:02 Now add the cooked rice.
03:06 Add it in the pan.
03:09 Now add curd.
03:20 You can add curd before adding rice.
03:24 But you have to stir it continuously.
03:29 You can add rice after adding curd.
03:32 But I have added it later.
03:34 So that the curd doesn't get over cooked.
03:38 And every grain of rice gets the flavour of curd.
03:42 Now after adding curd,
03:46 add salt as per taste.
03:49 Mix it well.
03:53 After mixing, add some coriander leaves.
03:59 Give it a stir.
04:03 And your Musaro Anna is ready.
04:10 Turn off the flame.
04:11 And serve it.
