00:08 we have a system currently running on Palm Island in Dubai.

00:13 We saw a gap in the market for automation of irrigation.

00:20 And 20 years ago, we had an irrigation system in Euro Disney.

00:24 We operate Australia-wide.

00:26 We have systems internationally as well,

00:29 systems in America, the Middle East.

00:32 I'm Misha Oshinsky.

00:33 I'm the National Sales Manager for Wiser.

00:36 The issue that we solve for farmers is a huge one.

00:41 The company itself solves the problem of farmers having to get up

00:46 in the middle of the night to switch on either their misting systems

00:49 or their flood irrigation or turning it off, turning it on.

00:55 It saves a lot of time, gives back time to the farmers

00:59 so they can actually get on with the business of farming

01:03 and not driving to 5, 6, 7 Ks across their property to irrigate.

01:11 (Misha Oshinsky) You set up the automation,

01:14 you check it's running and you go to bed

01:18 and you wake up the next morning.

01:21 (Dr. Andrew Gould) We rely on a radio system.

01:24 It's always going, we're generating,

01:27 our base station is generating the signal.

01:30 As long as it has power or backup power,

01:33 it can switch on and off the whole time.

01:36 It keeps running.

01:38 It's very, very reliable.

01:39 It can be extended out for kilometres and kilometres and kilometres.

01:43 Farmers aren't quick to adopt new technology necessarily

01:48 because they think it's too complex to use.

01:51 It's as simple as selecting the riser you want to open

01:54 and right clicking.

01:57 Number 6.

01:59 It just takes a moment to initiate the connection.

02:03 The radio that's been turned on.

02:06 There you go.

02:11 And yeah, that's how easy it is.

02:14 I don't have to be standing here obviously.

02:17 I can be anywhere.

02:19 Open and close or set up any program to run.

02:26 It's the dollars and the time.

02:28 Like if you have water go in the wrong spot,

02:31 it's 10 days before you really,

02:34 or a good week before you can get back onto that paddock.

02:37 System failures can be near catastrophic

02:40 if the wrong thing happens on a farm.

02:42 It can save your farm.

02:44 It really can.

02:46 These events are important.

02:48 It's incredibly important for us to reach our target market.

02:52 We want farmers to know what options are out there

02:55 to help their business.

02:57 If it switches on and off, our system can automate it.
