00:08 What movies has Margaret Qualley been in?
00:16 I was in The Nice Guys, that was my first movie.
00:18 Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, a movie called Sanctuary.
00:21 The movie I'm promoting right now is Drive Away Dolls
00:25 and getting to work with Ethan Coleman
00:27 was absolutely dreamy.
00:29 So yeah, maybe my dream roles are just to work
00:32 with directors I love.

00:37 I hang out with my friends and my family

00:47 Come to my house, it's a party, we'll organize.
00:49 What Margaret Qualley favorite food?

00:54 ultimate like, you know, like last meal kind of situations.
00:58 I love like a good like, Greek salad with some fish.
01:02 Oh, I also love like, frozen yogurt.
01:05 I think everyone loves that.
01:06 Or like, mint chocolate chip ice cream.
01:08 That's one of my favorites.
01:09 What Margaret Qualley fashion?
01:11 I love skirt, I love shirt, I love dress.
01:14 Like, sometimes good, sometimes bad, you know?
01:17 I love jeans and a t-shirt or jeans and a tank top.
01:21 I love fashion.
01:22 My most coveted piece of clothing is a pair of jazz shoes
01:25 that my sister gave me.
01:26 She saved up her allowance when she was 10 years old
01:28 for my fifth birthday.
01:29 Yeah, very sweet.
01:30 Why did Margaret Qualley start acting?
01:33 Grew up dancing, thought I was gonna do that.
01:35 Changed course, moved to New York,
01:38 and my then boyfriend brought me to an acting class
01:41 and I absolutely loved it.
01:43 I realized that it was what I wanted to do
01:44 and I tried to do it.
01:46 How did Margaret Qualley and Jack Antonoff meet?
01:51 We met at a friend's birthday party
01:53 and then we started dating.
01:55 How to pronounce Margaret Qualley?
01:58 Often Qualey, I think someone who did the clapper
02:01 just said Qualey.
02:02 [laughing]
02:04 No, it's cool.
02:05 Who Margaret Qualley looks like?
02:07 Probably my mother.
02:08 Or sometimes I get Emma Roberts, which is fun for me.
02:12 And also sometimes I'll get Jennifer Connelly,
02:13 which I really like that as well.
02:15 Margaret Qualley, once upon a time in Hollywood character.
02:20 Pussycat was her name.
02:21 And initially it was Kitty Cat,
02:24 but Quentin came up with the name Kitty Cat,
02:27 but then it turns out that Kitty Cat
02:30 was a member of the Manson family.
02:32 So he renamed the character Pussycat.
02:35 He asked me if it was okay with me
02:37 if my character's name changed from Kitty Cat to Pussycat,
02:40 which I thought was a really cool ask.
02:42 And I was like, absolutely, I love it.
02:44 Whatever you come up with.
02:46 And that was the inception of Pussycat.
02:48 Margaret Qualley, Ethan Coen.
02:50 Yeah, crazy, so excited.
02:53 I don't have the greatest sound bites for these things.
02:55 I don't have a perfect story
02:57 that encompasses the entire movie or something.
03:00 But I love Geraldine.
03:02 I think she's just an absolutely phenomenal actress.
03:04 She became one of my best friends.
03:05 And Ethan Coen and Trisha Cook are, of course,
03:09 two of the most talented filmmakers out there,
03:11 and it was absolutely outstanding getting to work with them.
03:14 They're some of the best people I've ever met.
03:15 I just love 'em.
03:16 Can Margaret Qualley dance?
03:18 Heck yeah, I can.
03:19 I did a really good job doing press for myself
03:23 as an adolescent in making myself seem
03:25 like more of a ballerina than I am
03:26 because I thought that that was cool.
03:28 But the reality is is that I grew up
03:30 doing competition dances, and it's very challenging,
03:33 but more like pageantry visuals and false eyelashes
03:38 and rhinestone tights.
03:39 And I was once on the side of an 18-wheeler
03:43 for a Showstoppers competition.
03:45 There wasn't much of a career path
03:48 for competition dancing, and I wanted it to have longevity,
03:52 but ultimately it didn't have longevity
03:53 because the reality is is that I was good at ballet,
03:56 but not great.
03:57 And that's that sad story.
04:01 [laughing]
04:04 Can Margaret Qualley make music?
04:06 Not at all.
04:07 I cannot make music.
04:09 And I just really would be surprised
04:12 if anyone were to have ever searched this
04:14 and do any search engine.
04:15 Okay.
04:18 Is Margaret Qualley related to Andy MacDowell?
04:23 Yes.
04:24 That's my mom.
04:25 Is Margaret Qualley on Instagram?
04:29 I have a family account.
04:31 I'm not gonna say I'm never using the interface,
04:33 but I don't have an Instagram account.
04:36 But I can send a meme, you know?
04:39 Is Margaret Qualley vegan?
04:40 No, I'm not.
04:41 I think the world of vegans,
04:43 and I think that they are the future,
04:46 and that I one day will eat less burgers.
04:50 Margaret Qualley, Lana Del Rey song.
04:54 This was like one of the coolest things
04:56 that's ever happened to me.
04:57 I absolutely adore Lana Del Rey.
04:59 I think she's the best poet of our generation.
05:03 It's such a beautiful song,
05:05 and I love you, Lana and Jack.
05:07 Margaret Qualley tattoos.
05:09 I've got a few.
05:10 I have this here, which says times five.
05:13 My sister did a stick and poke on me.
05:16 Basically, we would fight when we were kids
05:18 about who loved each other more.
05:19 We'd be like, no, I love you more.
05:20 No, I love you more.
05:22 One time, she said, I love you infinity times five.
05:25 And then I would be like,
05:26 why do you love you infinity times five of that?
05:27 And then she would be like, well, it doesn't work.
05:29 I already said times five infinity.
05:30 And I would be really hung up on it.
05:32 And then upon reflection, we found that story quite cute,
05:34 so we got it tattooed,
05:35 or we tattooed it on each other's arms.
05:37 Margaret Qualley eyebrows.
05:39 Margaret Qualley video game.
05:43 I did the voice and body for the character Mama
05:48 and her sister Lachna in Hideo Kojima's "Death Stranding."
05:53 Margaret Qualley birth chart.
05:57 I am a Scorpio.
05:59 I don't know that much about horoscopes,
06:02 but that one always elicits quite a strong reaction.
06:05 So you'll love me or you'll hate me, apparently.
06:09 So I've heard.
06:11 When did Margaret Qualley move to New York?
06:14 I moved to New York for 11th grade of high school.
06:17 I was 16.
06:18 Where is Margaret Qualley in "The Leftovers?"
06:22 "The Leftovers" was my very first acting job,
06:25 and it was this HBO show that Damon Lindelof made.
06:29 I loved doing it and learned so much on that show.
06:33 And yeah, it's a cool show.
06:35 Margaret Qualley Chanel bride.
06:37 It was really fun, honestly.
06:39 Virginie Viard, it was her couture show.
06:43 I think I just did one fitting
06:45 and then one more final tune-up.
06:48 It feels like a big deal.
06:49 It feels kind of like to put on a wedding dress.
06:51 It's kind of like, ooh.
06:53 Okay, last one, Margaret Qualley Kenzo.
06:56 Spike Jonze directed this dance commercial
07:00 for Umberto León and Carol who make Kenzo.
07:04 I got to do this kind of crazy dance for it,
07:08 and I remember being like, I don't know,
07:11 there was something vulnerable about the experience,
07:14 but it was also so exciting.
07:16 I don't know why I'm saying any of this.
07:18 [laughs]
07:20 Thank you so much, Viard.
07:21 I hope that you enjoy "Drive Away Dolls," and that's all.
07:26 (upbeat music)
07:28 [MUSIC]
