00:22 said Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah presided over the two-day meeting,

00:27 which also discussed the appointment of members of the Election Commission and Public Service

00:33 The meeting also discussed matters involving the Islamic affairs and issues under the National

00:37 Council for Islamic Religious Affairs, including the appointment of the MKI Chairman.

00:43 The Conference of Rulers was also presented with a briefing on national security by Inspector

00:48 General of Police Tan Sri Razza Rudin Hussain and on national defence by Chief of Defence

00:53 Forces General Tan Sri Muhammad Abdul Rahman.

00:57 On the first day of the meeting on Wednesday, Sultan Sharafuddin conveyed condolences on

01:01 the passing of former Governor of Sarawak Tun Abdul Taib Mahmood and welcomed the new

01:06 Sarawak Governor Tun Dr Wan Junaidi Tun Gujafa on board.

01:11 Wan Junaidi was absent on Thursday as he was attending the state funeral of Abdul Taib
