00:08 and Creative Director on Flintlock, The Siege of Dawn.

00:12 In our brand new video, we give you a first look at Flintlock's gunpowder and

00:16 magic-fueled gameplay. And today I'm going to take a deep dive

00:20 into the Flintlock fantasy-inspired world you'll be experiencing in the game.

00:29 The Flintlock fantasy genre is the battle between gods and guns.

00:34 It's where historical reenactment meets high fantasy.

00:38 In this particular world, we referenced a Napoleonic level of technology.

00:43 And so where a wizard may have been all-powerful

00:46 and capable of destroying a whole building with a fireball in the past,

00:49 you can now turn on them with a Flintlock rifle or perhaps a cannon.

00:58 In our game, this means you in particular use Flintlock pistols

01:02 in combination with dark magics and your faithful axe.

01:07 At the same time, whole armies are fielded with Flintlock rifles

01:10 and although the gods have the undead and magic at their side,

01:14 you in particular have dark magics that you find along the way,

01:18 companions that might work with magic.

01:25 And so our hope is that this creates a world that people can really get

01:29 the dirt under their fingernails. A world you can believe in,

01:32 but at the same time challenge the gods and

01:35 take on the dark magics that oppose you.

01:44 own path in this unforgiving world of black
