00:23 (speaking in foreign language)
00:27 - Yeah, I mean, it was amazing actually.
00:52 The boys are super good today
00:54 and second win of the year, so it's pretty cool.
00:58 - How did you work it out with the attack 1.2K to go
01:01 with Valentin Paré-Pintre?
01:03 - I just thought, why not?
01:04 In a sprint at the end, I'm not always super confident,
01:08 so I just told him, let's go full.
01:11 And he was kind of dropping me off the wheel,
01:14 but it was sweet to get the gap.
01:16 And then there's no better motivator
01:18 to see everyone behind you.
01:21 And yeah, you try to get to the finish line first.
01:24 - When did you realize that there was space for winning
01:28 despite the domination of UAE Team Emirates?
01:31 - Ah, I mean, all day, it felt super good,
01:33 even with the crosswinds at the start of the stage.
01:35 So I always thought there was a chance.
01:38 And yeah, it was sad to see Adam go down
01:42 and lose his race from the crash.
01:44 But yeah, as soon as you see one of their main GC guys down,
01:49 it's an opportunity you need to take
01:51 once he gets to the climb,
01:52 because yeah, it's one less guy to worry about.
01:55 - One part of the job is done, the stage win, now the GC?
01:59 - Yeah, I mean, I don't know where I am overall now,
02:03 but it's nice to see if you can fight
02:05 for the win for the race.
02:07 We still got three more sprint stages
02:10 and Gébel Afid to come, so still a lot of racing,
02:13 but it's sweet to be in the mix.
