00:00 It's been more than a week since the long-awaited championship rematch between Joshua Pasho and Jared Brooks in the 1166.
00:10 How are the two fighters doing before their fight? Let's find out in the story of Rafael Bandayrel.
00:17 After more than a year, Joshua Pasho and Jared Brooks will cross paths again inside the MMA cage.
00:27 In their first fight in 2021, Brooks took away Pasho's hometown advantage.
00:34 The Monkey God blocked the title of the winner via unanimous decision.
00:41 Pasho admitted that he was too focused on defense in their first fight, so he didn't score many points.
00:48 That's his plan to change in their upcoming rematch.
00:53 We need to show our combinations. We need to show what we really want to show in the fight.
01:02 We don't need to remember that we will take down the Monkey God.
01:07 It's just that we need to change our mindset.
01:12 We need to have confidence that we've been one of the best in the world.
01:17 That's what we need to show in this fight.
01:21 Yes, you're fighting the best in your division, but I shouldn't forget that I'm one of the best.
01:31 To get back to the title picture, Pasho went through the hole of Karayom to fight and beat the undefeated Russian prospect, Mansur Malachiev.
01:42 However, the defending champion has no worries. He won't change in their upcoming rematch.
01:51 All of the one championship, all of the Philippines, they've been digging him up from his grave.
01:57 Now it's time to put him right back in and keep on digging all that dirt on him.
02:03 I'm so excited to show the world and to show one championship that I am truly the best drawweight in the world.
02:13 Brooks vs. Pasho is just a side note to the main card of the 1-1-6-6 match that was held on March 1st in Qatar.
02:22 Like Pasho, the world title fight will also feature the Filipino contender, Denise Zamboanga.
02:29 Zamboanga will fight her former training partner, Stamp Fairtex of Thailand for the ONE Women's Atomweight belt.
02:37 Rafael Bandayrel for Pambansang TV in Bagong, Philippines.
