03:28 Then you can tell, "I've got a friend. I've gone off now."

03:31 Not bad, we love when you go off.

03:34 But there was a really dear friend of mine, she's been with her husband for 20 odd years.

03:38 They have never farted in front of each other.

03:40 I don't understand that. That's a lie.

03:42 I mean, I'm impractical.

03:43 Yeah.

03:44 And dishonest.

03:45 Dishonest.

03:46 I feel like you can't. They must have stomach problems.

03:49 I'm comfy. Can you imagine constantly having to get up and go and hide or open the door and go, "Oh, I'm having a hot flush."

03:57 Now, listen, I've only ever had one piece of written fan mail because I'm obviously not on your level yet.

04:02 I would imagine youse have had quite a lot of written fan mail, have you?

04:05 Does it still happen? Is it still a thing? You get letters?

04:07 Back in the day, I did.

04:09 Yeah.

04:10 I used to get sweet sort of photographs to sign.

04:12 Quite often, a couple of times I got Claire Foy's photo to sign.

04:16 So I would send her a picture going, "How do you want me to sign this?"

04:19 And Olivia Williams, occasionally we'd get each other's stuff, which is just funny.

04:26 Yeah.

04:27 Do you get fan mail?

04:28 I do, yeah. I think I do. I don't know.

04:31 You're too busy to read it. You've got someone else surfing through it for you.

04:35 I feel always really nice.

04:38 Yeah.

04:39 It's nice.

04:40 When was the last letter that you wrote and what was it? Do you remember?

04:55 I have a lovely friend in Dublin who's older and I sometimes write...

05:13 So when my husband and I first got together, he was a student and I was feckless.

05:22 He had to go to Hong Kong for three weeks and it was awful.

05:29 Before we'd said we loved each other, but we wrote to each other every day.

05:33 So the first day he got there, he wrote to me and I wrote to him and those letters passed

05:36 and then we would just reply to the letters that we got.

05:38 Do you still have those letters?

05:39 Oh, yeah.

05:40 Oh.

05:41 They're beautiful. On airpaper, you know, because we couldn't afford to phone each other.

05:45 Yeah.

05:46 That's so nice.

05:47 I went to my parents' house and said, "Can I borrow the phone to phone Ed?"

05:50 And they went, "It works!"

05:52 And...

05:53 No.

05:54 And, yeah, that was amazing.

05:57 And those letters, oh, you couldn't sleep at night waiting for the letter to arrive the next day.

06:02 That actually makes me quite sad because, like, you don't have that anymore now.

06:05 No.

06:06 We've got date naps and it's hell.

06:07 We should bring letters back.

06:08 We need this hell out here.

06:09 Yeah.

06:12 That should be the way that men court people because it takes attention to detail.
