00:27 Lal claimed to have received 10 cheques of Rs 10 lakh each, totalling Rs 1 crore, from
00:33 the filmmaker as a contribution to his film.
00:36 However, all the cheques allegedly bounced.
00:39 The advocate representing Ashok Lal, Piyush Bhojani, confirmed the court's decision on
00:44 Saturday stating that Lal attempted to contact Santoshi regarding the matter but received

00:50 The advocate said that Lal then took legal action under the Negotiable Instruments Act.
