Double LP debut by Swiss quartet For For Jazz with Benny Bailey. Four For Jazz drew its energy from a permanent, fruitful controversy between the bop tradition and free jazz, and was deeply committed to jazz. In their debut album they were side by side in some of the tracks with trumpeter Benny Bailey.
Thw jazz is multi-faceted, melodic, harmonic and rhythmically demanding and yet not pretentious.
