00:13 According to a study, more than half of the population
00:17 aged 13 to 17 years old
00:19 experienced cyber violence.
00:21 It's equivalent to one in every three children.
00:24 But what's the difference between a simple joke and cyber bullying?
00:27 And more importantly, how will you report it if you're the victim?

00:33 and this is what you need to know.
00:34 It's normal to make fun of each other through friends.
00:38 But sometimes, it's too much.
00:41 It hurts to hear or read
00:43 even from someone you're not close to or don't know.
00:46 Sometimes, it's hard to talk about it, especially online
00:49 if the joke is really a joke or you're intentionally hurt.
00:53 According to UNICEF,
00:54 one of the signs that you're being bullied online
00:56 is when the jokes are not funny anymore
00:59 and you can't stop even if you tell them to stop.
01:03 And if they're repeating it despite your efforts to stop it,
01:07 then it's time to call for help.
01:08 For parents, according to experts,
01:11 if your child is a victim of cyber bullying,
01:14 it's important to collect evidence and receipts,
01:17 hide conversations, screenshots,
01:20 report to a social networking site where it happened.
01:23 You can also consult a lawyer or a law expert,
01:26 especially if they have a life-threatening situation.
01:28 File a report to the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group
01:31 and the National Bureau of Investigation.
