00:14 President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. promised that the government will continue to work
00:20 to improve the working environment in the country.
00:25 This is the statement of the Executive Office after the number of Filipinos

00:36 The survey showed that 96.9% of Filipinos lost their jobs in the past month, according to the President.
00:43 The government is willing to double the amount of their banks to implement the demand and supply side interventions,
00:49 including pro-investment reforms and strategic partnerships to encourage more Filipinos to come to the country.
00:55 He also added that the government will implement initiatives such as public-private partnerships
01:01 and the country-to-home program for the Filipino people
01:04 that will help the economy to grow and create more jobs.
01:08 President Marcos Jr. also promised that the workers' rights will not be violated
01:14 by upskilling and reskilling for these workers to increase their ability and be able to work in the new era.
01:22 The President said that he will continue to support the progress of the labor market in the country,
01:27 which is being recorded in the latest Labor Force Survey.
01:30 The President also insisted that it is a sign of the strong cooperation of various industries,
01:36 including construction, agriculture, and services.
01:40 The Department of Budget and Management approved the results of the survey.
01:44 According to Budget Secretary Amena Pangandaman,
01:47 this is a sign of the strong economy of the country,
01:50 and the government is also working hard to strengthen the labor sector.
01:56 Although the issue of employment in the country has become a challenge,
01:59 the Marcos administration is still working hard to create more opportunities
02:04 for Filipino workers who have a large contribution to the nation building.
02:08 If the government continues to work hard, the government will continue to support
02:12 the strong and inclusive workforce in the country.
