00:09 A full pardon, they call it a free pardon, which we have asked for.

00:13 We want to reiterate that, we are waiting for the right timing, we will do it.

00:19 Najib Razak's team is seriously considering to make a new request for pardon related to the SRC International case.

00:28 His lawyer Syafi Abdung Wah said, his team is waiting for the right time to file it.

00:35 Last week, the Union Regional Coordination Agency announced a decision to reduce Najib's prison sentence from 12 years to 6 years,

00:44 while the fine of RM210 million was reduced to RM50 million.

00:49 The order is expected to be released in 2028 or the following year if he fails to pay the penalty.

00:57 Syafi repeated the position that they are asking for a full pardon, which he said means Najib will be considered innocent,

01:04 just like the pardon given to Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim in 2018.
