00:00 Terrorists sometimes hide in a particular house in a village.
00:13 They cannot hide in that house if the rest of the village is not complicit.
00:21 Right?
00:23 Now do you want to blame that terrorist?
00:29 That house or the entire village?
00:43 We will fight because we are animals.
00:49 We require the enlightening effect of wisdom literature to transcend our animal disposition.
01:10 Note that when someone stabs another one in the heart, you can capture that on the camera
01:23 and you are quick to denounce that as an act of brutality.
01:26 Right?
01:27 You just saw that happening in front of eye.
01:31 The dagger was sharp and it went right into the flesh and blood, it just sprouted out
01:43 like a fountain and all that is so dramatic.
01:48 You can see that.
01:50 How about those who are killing you daily by poisoning the air and you are getting killed
02:01 daily.
02:02 Right?
02:03 But is that so visual, so optical and so dramatic?
02:07 Is it?
02:08 We never come to know of that.
02:11 But the principle behind both these murderers is the same and as intelligent people you
02:17 must recognize that.
02:21 The principle behind the stabber and the polluter is the, and that is the principle of the animal,
02:29 the beast.
02:31 I will live in my self-centered ignorance.
02:36 That is the principle of the stabber and that is also the principle behind the polluter.
02:44 Therefore you require wisdom, you require wisdom and that is the entire purpose of spirituality.
02:53 To take us beyond the bodily instincts.
03:01 See in how animals fight.
03:06 If in a particular space there are n number of rabbits and more rabbits are born, the
03:14 elder, stronger, typically male rabbits kill the younger ones because they want to have
03:23 some kind of a monopoly over the resources.
03:26 They say if we have more rabbits that is not good for our physicality.
03:32 Food will become scarce, divided.
03:38 That is who we are.
03:39 We all come from the jungle, don't we?
03:42 Historically how long was it?
03:46 Very recently, till very recently we were chimpanzees and orangutans, were we not?
03:55 You can say a few million years, that is a blink of an eye when it comes to the historical
04:02 time scale.
04:03 Till yesterday we were in the jungle as beasts.
04:07 So we share our basic instincts with the beasts and that is the reason we stab and we pollute.
