00:00 Former MP Ong Kian Ming from DAP gave a warning.
00:06 The party could become like MCA if it continues to rely on the campaign to scare the non-Malay voters.
00:12 He said DAP cannot continue to rely on the fear of non-Malay people towards PAS to continue to slow down the hearts of the group.
00:20 According to the DAP's statement, if the strategy continues to be used,
00:25 the party will not be much different from the MCA's previous actions that often scared the Chinese voters
00:32 to support the National Line if there is a representative of that group in the government.
00:37 Ong, who is also a former Minister of Trade and Industry, said
00:41 the commitment to the DAP's strategy cannot be placed on the shoulders of the great loyalist Lok Siu Fook alone,
00:48 but must be supported jointly by the highest party leaders.
00:52 He said the commitment included a request to implement institutional reform to prevent corruption,
00:59 as promised in the PH Manifesto in 2015.
01:03 He said the promise, including the appointment of the head of the Malaysian Corruption Prevention Commission,
01:08 must be approved by the Party's Special Powers Office in the membership of various parties.
