00:00 So you just won an Emmy and now you're here at the Grammys. How are you guys feeling?
00:03 It's a big month. It's been busy.
00:06 What was your reaction when you learned that you won the Emmy for the Weird Al movie?
00:12 Blacked out. Blacked out pretty hard.
00:14 Yeah, it was totally insane.
00:16 We both heard the "Wuh" come out.
00:19 When they said "Weird."
00:20 Yeah.
00:20 And like the minute the "W" was sounded, we were like, "Oh my god, this actually happens."
00:24 It was an unbelievable experience.
00:26 What was the best part about collaborating with Weird Al?
00:30 He is like the most chill, hands-off, creative collaborator.
00:35 Like, very creative, but also will let you figure out how to solve the creative conundrum yourself.
00:41 And so, I mean, he was on tour during a lot of the movie and would be like playing concerts.
00:46 Like, we would start a Zoom meeting and he would be like, "I gotta go play a concert."
00:50 And then would come back at the end of the Zoom meeting having just played for a bunch of people, which is so cool.
00:54 And like, you know, listen to the music, gave such good feedback.
00:57 Like, his notes were so specific and like he's got such a good sense of comedy.
01:03 And so, I thought he was a dream collaborator.
01:06 Yeah, and he's also just like, he's an icon.
01:09 Yeah, he's a married hero.
01:10 Yeah, it's like, it was my first concert ever when I was eight years old.
01:14 So, it was just like, it was just an awesome, awesome experience.
01:16 And it's even more incredible for us that we're like on this bill with him at the Grammys.
01:21 Like, that we're sharing an album nomination with him.
01:23 He's turf, you know?
01:24 Yes, yes.
01:25 What an amazing full circle moment.
01:27 I love that.
01:28 And speaking of icons, so many iconic artists here tonight.
01:32 Who's someone you'd love to run into on this red carpet?
01:35 I'm like a huge fan of the banjo player, Bela Fleck.
01:39 And I believe he's nominated and I would love to run into him.
01:41 But I also think he might be on tour, so maybe not here.
01:44 I thought you were going to say Taylor, but I thought that was the easy answer.
01:47 Always, always.
01:48 I mean, I love the Olivia Rodrigo album and I think I would nerd out if I saw her.
01:52 Yeah.
01:53 And I feel like here there might be some metal bands too that I really like.
01:57 Now you said Taylor, are you two Swifties?
01:59 Big, big Swifty.
02:01 You saw it.
02:02 She changed the profile picture today.
02:05 I'm not that caught up.
02:09 What is it?
02:10 Breaking news.
02:11 Oh, I'll give you the news.
02:12 People think that Reputation, Taylor's version, she might announce it today when she wins an award.
02:17 She would definitely win the media cycle with that.
02:20 Like, big time.
02:21 I love Reputation, so that would be awesome.
02:24 Amazing.
02:25 Are you guys football fans at all?
02:26 Oh, yeah.
02:27 Who are we rooting for?
02:28 It's tough because I'm a diehard Buffalo Bills fan.
02:31 So, you know, I have a lot of mixed feelings on Travis Kelce, but amazing football player
02:36 and great guy.
02:37 Who are we rooting for next weekend?
02:39 The Chiefs, the 49ers, or?
02:41 Absolutely the 49ers.
02:43 Christian McCaffrey, I think, deserves a Super Bowl.
02:46 MVP, to be honest.
02:47 Yeah.
02:48 I am a big Swifty, so I have to say Chiefs, but we'll agree to disagree.
02:52 But it's great, expanding the audience both ways.
02:54 The NFL loves you.
02:55 I have never cared this much about football in my life.
02:58 Exactly, it's incredible.
02:59 (laughing)
