00:24 >> This is such a historic day for so many reasons,
00:27 but not least the fact that my parents
00:30 and grandparents never thought a day like today would come.
00:32 This place was designed in such a way that it wasn't to happen,
00:36 but here we are.
00:37 The executive office is now two women at the helm.
00:40 We also have two junior ministers that are also female.
00:43 I think that speaks volumes to young women out there that,
00:45 you know, they can achieve anything
00:47 that they set their minds to.
00:49 Believe, and actually whatever you want to do, you can do.
00:51 I wanted today to talk directly to those young people.
00:54 I want to have their backs.
00:56 I want to hear what's important to them.
00:58 That they can change the world, because I genuinely believe that.
01:01 So we all know, collectively we all know,
01:04 as a society we know the value of peace.
01:06 >> Okay, I mean I'm very happy to work
01:13 with whoever they had to put forward, but yes,
01:15 I've known Emma for quite some time.
01:17 Obviously she's been about the institution, so yeah,
01:20 I think we will get on just fine, and I think
01:22 that we have work to do, and we just have to get
01:24 down to brass tacks now and actually get it done.
01:27 >> I mean I think we have many shared priorities,
01:29 particularly around, you know, childcare.
01:31 I think that's one of the biggest issues facing families
01:33 right now, affordable childcare being an option to them.
01:35 I think this is something that together,
01:37 this executive wants to do.
01:39 I am absolutely determined to work in partnership with others,
01:42 and I think that's what the public want to see.
01:44 They want to see politics working.
01:45 They want us to be dealing with things like childcare.
01:47 They want us to be reforming our health service
01:49 and making sure they can get access
01:50 to the health service when they need it.
01:51 Yeah, we're straight into it from Monday week,
01:54 or from Monday week from Monday.
01:55 We have a busy week ahead of us, yeah. Lots to beat on.
