00:00 How did you prepare for a role like this?

00:03 Yeah, I mean, I was very fortunate that the production,

00:06 you know, they provide you with a lot of resources.

00:08 So I spoke to a lot of midwives,

00:10 watched a lot of birth and videos.

00:13 May had also given me, Mahalia Sari, our wonderful director,

00:16 she'd given me a doll to take home.

00:19 And she was like, which was weighted like a real baby.

00:22 And she was like, I want you to load the dishwasher.

00:24 I want you to, you know, make a cup of tea.

00:27 I want you to do all these things

00:28 and just get used to the fact that you are constantly

00:30 attached to this being.

00:32 And my friend had a baby right before we started,

00:36 which was so beautiful to witness.

00:38 And so like, I was able to ask her

00:39 like the really personal questions.

00:41 Like nitty gritty.

00:42 Yeah, I'm like, tell me the truth.

00:43 I thought you were going to say,

00:44 yeah, if I could just borrow the child,

00:46 just for a couple of weeks to walk around.

00:48 I was asked, oh, so you obviously did some babysitting.

00:51 And I was like, no, absolutely not.
