00:00 Thanks for joining us Jett. You're preparing for your first season in the Coats Talent League with the Rebels. How are you feeling?

00:06 Yeah, I'm feeling really good. I'm keen to get into it so hopefully I can put my best foot forward and show what I've got.

00:12 And what sort of attributes are you hoping to bring to the team this year?

00:14 A bit of run and carry and a bit of decision making and a bit of hard work, like my work ethic up and down the ground.

00:21 So yeah, hopefully, fingers crossed, I can get a game under my belt and show what I can do when they press by them.

00:29 And you were the co-captain of Koroit's grand final team, the under-16s this year. What sort of leadership style do you bring to the team?

00:38 Yeah, it was good. I was captain last year, co-captain with Taylor Burns. I've played a lot of footy with Taylor ever since I was a kid.

00:45 Hopefully I can show a bit of leadership and help the boys throughout the year.

00:52 And running is a big part of your family. I know your mum is heavily involved. How does she help you with your footy career?

00:59 Yeah, me and mum spend a fair bit of time together at the gym or we go out for a run together.

01:07 She helps me out a fair bit as long as Dad. My whole family helps me out a fair bit.

01:12 But yeah, mum's probably the biggest one with running and going to the gym.

01:16 I've seen before at a 24/7 gym, Katie Rowe and Stuart Rowe, they're the owners of the 24/7 gym.

01:24 They've took me under their wing. There's been a few hard sessions out there, so it's been good.

01:31 And left field, who do you go for in the AFL and why?

01:34 I go for Freo. Ever since I was a kid, I've been going for them.

01:38 I go for them because of Nat Phyfe, he's one of my role models.
