00:05 Gypsy Rose Blanchard welcomes a new family member into her household.

00:10 The celeb reveals the news on Instagram, telling followers in a video message

00:14 that she and her husband, Ryan Scott Anderson, have adopted a puppy.

00:20 This is Pixie. She is an eight-week-old baby mousy puppy.

00:27 She is a sweetheart and she's already spoiled rotten.

00:32 I'm going to put her back in bed because she was asleep.

00:35 Gypsy also takes viewers back a few days to when they first brought her home.

00:39 This is her sleeping in her bed. I put her in her little bed to go to sleep and everything.

00:43 We went to PetSmart, bought everything she could possibly need, everything puppy.

00:49 And then by the end of the night, they sprawled out on my side of the bed like she owns it.

00:59 I had like that much part of the bed.

01:02 Blanchard says she and Ryan wanted to expand their household with a puppy first.

01:06 Ryan and I just wanted to get something that we both can kind of have to take care of

01:14 and just have as an addition to the family.

01:17 We're not ready to have a baby yet, so this was like the next best thing.

01:22 And she lets fans know to expect a lot of dog mom content going forward.

01:56 Since her release, the couple has talked about wanting to grow their family.

02:14 "I have found other mother figures that are around in my life, friends that are mothers,

02:18 so I have a lot of good people around me to pull advice from when that time comes.

02:22 I don't think that there's going to be a manual that says, 'You've won Mom of the Year,'

02:27 but I definitely have no concerns about, I think, my parenting when it comes to that time."
