Birdman + Lil Wayne’s YMCMB Is Back-Back

Don’t call it a comeback.. Young Money Cash Money Billionaires have been here for years.. but there’s something special brewing in 2021. YMCMB’s Drake and Nicki Minaj are leading the charge for the powerhouse Birdman and Lil Wayne built brick by brick.

It all started in May when Nicki Minaj released her unforgettable Beam Me Up Scotty mixtape for the first time ever on streaming services. The project - which dropped during her early YMCMB days - came packed with classics like ‘Itty Bitty Piggy’ but more surprisingly was the addition of new tracks like the Lil Wayne and Drake-featured “Seeing Green” collaboration.

On top of all that Nicki has promised to address something ‘urgent’ this Thursday night at 10:30 PM Eastern. That’s just an hour and a half before the release of music for New Music Friday

And how about the fact Drake has not only promoted his ‘Certified Lover Boy’ album gearing up to drop but - even more interesting - has publicly shared footage of himself wearing a YMCMB hoodie and also sharing a picture of Nicki Minaj’s recording studio.

Let’s also not forget Lil Wayne’s been teasing a ‘Tha Carter 6’ album for months.

Could all of the stars be aligning with a complete Young Money takeover happening this summer or is this all just a coincidence?
