After stepping away from music for the better part of a year to focus on family and motherhood, the Queen of rap returned to social media to announce new music dropping this week.
Nicki went to Instagram for the first time since January to tease something big coming this Friday. She later posted some lyrics and revealed her new song is called “Fractions.”
The social media takeover continued with Nicki posting a video of herself and husband Kenneth Petty riding in a Rolls-Royce to promote an Instagram Live appearance on Thursday night ahead of the “Fractions” release.
Despite her break from making music, Nicki remains as popular as ever. Last week, her song “L.L.C.” reached No. 1 on iTunes three years after its initial release.
