Queensland residents urged to prepare as new cyclone threat emerges

A large stretch of Queensland's coastline has been put on alert as a tropical low gains strength in the Coral Sea. The Weather Bureau is predicting the system could develop into a cyclone as early as Sunday, while it continues to move towards the coast.
