Two cops charged in rape and extortion case

Two policemen who were suspects in a rape-and-extort case involving an underaged girl have been hauled to the Ampang Sessions Court.  L/Kpl Muhammad Fazrul Razzi Yunus, 31, was charged on Wednesday (Jan 17) with raping the girl inside a police patrol car while still on duty, as well as committing unnatural sex, carnal intercourse against the order of nature, and sexual assault against the 17-year-old victim near Persiaran Saujana Ampang at 10.30pm on Jan 9.  At the Magistrate's Court, Muhammad Fazrul also faced another extortion charge with his partner, Kons Muhammad Adib Aikal Sharul Nizam, for extorting RM500 from the victim and her boyfriend, threatening to spread their intimate video near Jalan Ampang Hillview on the same date and time. 01:24 They were accused of extorting RM500 from the victim and her boyfriend, threatening

01:35 The charge under Section 384 of the Penal Code carries a maximum of 10 years jail, a

01:41 fine or whipping upon conviction.

01:45 Magistrate Amalina Basira Matop fixed RM4,000 bail for each of the accused.
