00:09 this seafront might well be in another world as far as the carefree holidaymakers are concerned.

00:18 These people of Sunderland leave their homes each morning and go off on their daily run

00:23 to the factory or shipyard, consulting room or colliery, to the office or shop, but all

00:30 returning to their homes when their various duties are done.

00:37 Some of them are in a hurry.

00:45 Some have time on their hands.

00:51 Some have their share of troubles.
