00:33 when it comes to being a dog dad, as one of the snaps sees her with her tongue out, ready to plant a slobbery kiss on the producer.

00:42 Pebbles is just the latest four-legged addition to the Cowell family.

00:46 After all, the TV personality, who shares son Eric, 9, with fiancé Lauren Silverman, has four other dogs,

00:54 his rescue mix Daisy and his terriers, Freddy, Squidley and Diddley.

01:00 Over the years, Simon has been an outspoken supporter of animal welfare,

01:05 even donating more than $32,000 to the Humane Society International in 2018 to shut down dog meat farms in South Korea.

01:15 And just a few years later, he had an emotional meeting with one of the dogs he helped save.

01:21 Per People, when meeting the little pup in 2020, Simon told Good Morning Britain correspondent Philippa Thompson,

01:28 "This is difficult for me, but it is important because without people like you, he'd basically be in someone's stomach.

01:35 Now you think about that, right? And dogs will give up their lives for you. They really would.

01:41 And they'll look after your kids. They put their lives in front of your kids."
