China opposes US-Taiwan exchange as unofficial US delegation to the island planned after election

China on Thursday reiterated its opposition to the U.S.-Taiwan official exchange following the reported plan of the Biden administration to send a delegation comprised of former senior officials to Taiwan shortly after its presidential election this weekend.
