Home free global crusade tour 15, isasagawa sa Quirino Grandstand sa Luneta Park
Transcript
00:00 This morning, we are joined by Bishop Jonathan Ferriol,
00:04 the Deputy Executive Minister of the Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ Fort Watch
00:09 to give us a deeper look into the Home Free 15 Global Crusade.
00:15 Good morning and welcome to RSP, Bishop.
00:17 Good morning once again to you, Audrey, and to the followers of Rise and Shine Filipinas.
00:23 It's great to be back and it's great to see you again.
00:26 Okay, well, the Home Free 15 Global Crusade tour is now over.
00:30 There were almost 50,000 participants.
00:33 Now, the Home Free 15 Global Crusade tour will begin at the Carino Grandstand in Luneto Park.
00:41 Can you tell us why this is such an important milestone for us, the Christians?
00:48 Yeah, the Home Free 15 Global Crusade, Christ the Peacemaker tour is the first evangelistic crusade
00:57 that is going to be held in that historic park of our nation's capital since the pandemic.
01:04 And we are expecting to fill up the entire Luneto Park, not only with the members of the PMCC Fort Watch,
01:15 but also the rest of our family and our friends.
01:20 And I really believe that we have reached a time when people need peace more than anything else.
01:30 There is so much turmoil, Audrey.
01:33 There's so much distress that is happening not only in the lives of private Filipinos,
01:39 but also in households and in our nation.
01:42 I mean, I do not need to convince anyone that we are living in troubled times.
01:48 And we believe, as the Bible says, that peace, real peace, and lasting peace can only come from our Lord Jesus Christ.
01:58 Well, troubled times, we all go through them.
02:01 And we all need peace in our hearts, especially in our spiritual lives.
02:06 But you have organized a free Global Crusade in the Philippines in the past two years.
02:13 What impact did this crusade have on our country and the whole world as a whole?
02:20 When I look at the results of the Home Free Global Crusade this year alone, in 2023, last year,
02:30 they are beyond words. Flattery aside, exaggeration aside, it's beyond words to really describe the transformation,
02:40 the salvation that was received by the people who went there.
02:47 And you yourself has a testimony.
02:50 You've been sharing to me your testimony, how your life was impacted,
02:54 how your life somehow changed for the better, along with your neighbors when they attended the Home Free Global Crusade.
03:03 And it is not the event in itself, Audrey. It's the message of the event.
03:09 And the message of the event is always about Jesus.
03:13 It's always about His power to change our present lives and our future and our eternity.
03:21 And the result is massive.
03:24 So many people, so many households have given or have received, I should say, hope.
03:31 They have received a new chapter in their lives.
03:35 And as a result, they are living their lives far better than before.
03:41 So, you mentioned the message, Bishop.
03:44 Now, the theme of the crusade this year is "Christ the Peacemaker."
03:50 Yes.
03:50 How will this be... How important is this in this time?
03:55 You know, everything we do here on earth, I'm not saying they do not have a place.
04:00 The peace treaty, the conciliatory actions within the family, being forgiving,
04:09 all of those have a place, in part, to maintain our relationships.
04:15 But unless man is reconciled with God,
04:20 aside from having the right relationship with God,
04:24 aside from having the right relationship with God,
04:28 whoever is individual, whoever is a household,
04:31 his life isn't gonna get better.
04:33 Not only in this life, but in the life to come.
04:37 That's the reason why Christ came.
04:40 Because He is the only one who can reconcile with us, with our Lord.
04:44 Not religion, not our morality, not our piety, only Christ.
04:48 And what Christ had done at the cross and at His resurrection.
04:53 The Bible says, "If you will believe in Christ for what He has done, we will be saved."
04:59 That salvation, an integral part of salvation is reconciliation.
05:03 Come to think of it, you will not only improve your relationship with your fellowmen,
05:09 but also your relationship with God.
05:11 And all of these things that we are doing,
05:15 like what I said, they have a place in our society.
05:17 But that's just skin deep, Audrey.
05:20 It's just skin deep.
05:21 We need to be reconciled right at the very recesses of our soul.
05:28 We need to get right with God,
05:30 and our right relationship with God will bring about right relationship with people.
05:37 It's very difficult to organize a huge congregation.
05:44 Yes.
05:45 It's very challenging.
05:46 But how can you say that all the efforts of the members are worthwhile
05:51 when you are doing the Home Fray Crusade?
05:53 Yes.
05:54 You know, you're right there.
05:55 The mobilization of this huge crusade is very huge.
06:01 It is incredible.
06:03 And our only compensation, if ever you can call that as compensation,
06:07 like this is our "sukle" or this is our "kumpiansa" or whatever.
06:16 You can see that people are getting closer to God.
06:21 And they are getting better.
06:24 And they are getting salvation in this life from their sins.
06:29 The Bible says that there is rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents.
06:35 So that is our source of satisfaction and joy.
06:39 And speaking of mobilization, I'd like to congratulate
06:44 and I'd like to recognize all the tech people
06:47 and all the volunteers of the church who are working since yesterday
06:52 in putting up the massive event and this stage.
06:55 So keep up the good works and the Lord bless you.
06:58 Bishop, we heard last Saturday that you also had a grand medical mission
07:05 Yes.
07:05 to PMCC Fort Watch in Paco, Manila.
07:08 Can you tell us about this?
07:10 Yes.
07:10 You know, the purpose of our crusades is our community outreaches,
07:18 our humanitarian work.
07:20 Because Jesus, when He was on earth, He did not just preach the Gospel.
07:24 He healed the sick.
07:26 Well, we cannot heal someone, but we can definitely provide someone
07:31 with the means, medically speaking, of things they needed
07:36 so that they can feel better.
07:38 So we distributed medicines and all kinds of services
07:44 to the residents of Paco, Manila.
07:46 And they are very appreciative and they recognize our good works toward them.
07:53 It's all part of our ministry of the PMCC Fort Watch.
07:57 Alright, Bishop Anog, please invite our RSP who are watching now
08:04 to attend the event of Home Free.
08:06 Okay.
08:07 This is Bishop Jonathan Ferriol of the Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ
08:13 in the Fort Watch.
08:14 On January 14, on Sunday, on the 4th of the afternoon,
08:19 the Home Free Global Crusade 15 Christ the Peacemaker Tour will be held.
08:25 And this is free, free of charge.
08:28 This is for all our RSP.
08:32 And we are inviting you.
08:34 Have an evening of inspiration.
08:37 One night of inspiration, of hope.
08:40 And just to be able to feel right deep inside you,
08:44 you will enjoy the music of the Dikatinas, our Sankakristyanuhan.
08:49 Dikatinas is one of the foremost vocal groups of the Christian music.
08:56 And they are coming to have a concert at the Quirino Grandstand.
09:01 So don't you want to miss Dikatinas and the dancers and the rest of the event.
09:06 There will also be a beautiful firework.
09:09 So you don't want to miss it also after our event.
09:13 Well, it's exciting what's going to happen.
09:15 But aside from that, I pray that we have a lot of fellowmen
09:20 who will have peace in our homecoming.
09:24 Well, thank you so much for visiting us this morning, Bishop Jonathan Ferrioles.
