00:00 The Philippine Coast Guard's first rotation and resupply mission in the West Philippine Sea was a success this year.

00:07 That's on the other side of the China Coast Guard's wings.

00:14 The Philippine Coast Guard's rotation and resupply mission in the West Philippine Sea from January 3 to 9 was again successful.

00:24 But the first rotation and resupply mission of the year was still a success.

00:29 The BRP Cabra and BRP Sindangan were able to safely reach the Port of Boliluyan in Batarasa, Palawan.

00:34 They brought supplies for their units in the Kalayaan Group of Islands, particularly in Lawak, Panata, and Pagasa Islands.

00:41 According to PCG Commandant Ronnie Hill-Gaban,

00:44 the Coast Guard was able to secure the facilities of the PCG in the so-called islands this year.

00:51 He was able to secure that with the added budget of the PCG for infrastructure development this 2024.

00:56 With regards to our latest rotation, it was successful sir that we rotated our personnel who were in the islands in the West Philippine Sea.

01:09 The travel was safe.

01:12 With regards to the shadowing of the China Coast Guard, we are used to such situations.

01:18 We are doing this on a regular basis.

01:22 That's why we know what we will do.

01:25 We don't have to worry because we are operating within our exclusive economic zones.
