00:00 How difficult was it to learn and present Tamil from Hindi?
00:18 It was a very challenging and difficult process to do the Tamil version again.
00:30 First we shot the entire Hindi portion together.
00:33 After that we got into the same scenes that we had done in Hindi, the same scenes we had to shoot them again in Tamil.
00:42 So you had one added benefit that yes I have performed the scene already.
00:46 I know what the emotion is, what the mood is, what the character is thinking.
00:50 So I already have that.
00:52 But the film is a very verbose film.
00:57 There is a lot of conversation between me and Vijay sir.
01:00 So to have the same ease in the Tamil version, that was for me what was the big challenge.
01:08 But I think I had so much support from Vijay sir, from Sriram sir and also from a wonderful artist whose name is Deepa Venkat.
01:16 She was there with me.
01:17 She is a very fine artist from the Tamil film industry, from the South film industry.
01:22 And she helped me, she was there with me holding my hand throughout the whole process.
01:27 And then I gave myself one rule that however much preparation we did for the Tamil lines,
01:34 when circled action, do not think.
01:38 Do not think I know Tamil, I don't know Tamil.
01:41 Oh my God, how will I perform this?
01:44 Just trust and just do not think.
01:47 And there is something honestly that I feel when I see the Tamil shots, I do see something different in them.
01:53 And for me I am super excited for everyone to see the Tamil version of Merry Christmas as well.
01:59 Thank you.
