00:22 is a middle school special education teacher.
00:24 In his Instagram bio, he says, "I'm from Louisiana.
00:27 "I'm married to the most wonderful,
00:29 "most beautiful woman in the world, Gypsy Rose Blanchard."
00:32 Turns out Ryan had watched the 2017 documentary,
00:36 "Mommy, Dead and Dearest," which chronicled Gypsy's story
00:40 and the 2015 death of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard.
00:43 Gypsy, who served seven years in prison
00:46 for her role in the plot to kill her mom,
00:48 testified that her mother medically abused her,
00:51 claiming she is a victim of Munchausen by proxy.
00:54 Gypsy's ex-boyfriend, Nicholas Godijan,
00:56 is serving a life sentence for Dee Dee's murder.
00:59 Back to Ryan, he has said that after having watched
01:02 Gypsy's HBO documentary, he decided to reach out to her
01:05 while she was in prison.
01:07 He told People that he made a pact with a friend
01:09 who wanted to reach out to "Tiger King" star Joe Exotic,
01:12 telling the publication, "I said, 'I'll tell you what.
01:14 "'If you write him, I'll write Gypsy Rose Blanchard.'"
01:18 By 2020, the two were emailing regularly,
01:21 though Gypsy said the pandemic was hard on the couple,
01:24 telling People, "Ryan has seen me through some really
01:26 "good times, some really hard times."
01:29 Two years later, the pair married
01:31 in a July prison wedding ceremony,
01:33 though are planning a bigger celebration
01:35 now that Gypsy is free.
01:37 When it comes to what Gypsy loves about her man,
01:39 she tells People, "I would say that he is probably
01:42 "the most compassionate soul that I've ever met.
01:44 "Ryan is so patient with me because I could be
01:47 "a little bit of a lot to handle."
01:49 As far as if the couple wants to expand their family,
01:52 the answer is yes.
01:54 As Gypsy told People in December,
01:55 "I'm going to have kids one day."
01:57 In the short time she's been out of prison,
01:59 Gypsy has already sent a message to her trolls
02:02 who criticize the couple's relationship.

02:07 to Ryan's November 28th Instagram post,
02:09 writing, "Ryan, don't listen to the haters.

02:13 "We do not owe anyone anything.
02:15 "Our family is who matters.
02:17 "If you get likes and good comments, great.

02:20 "because they don't matter."
02:22 She goes on to make a not safe for work comment
02:24 about the pair's sex life, adding,
02:26 "Because they jealous because you are rocking
