The weather might have eased but the river hasn't. I'm down here at Ironbridge where the River Severn is set to peak this evening.

At quarter to one, the measuring station at Bildwash just up the river was reading at 6.27 metres.

According to the latest prediction, the river will peak this evening at a maximum of 6.3 metres.
