00:16 Source tells The Telegraph that Meghan believed her background in philanthropy granted her

00:20 a greater authority to address certain issues compared to Princess Kate.

00:29 One insider added that upon joining the royal family, the Duchess of Sussex felt she could

00:33 share her wisdom and teach the royal family a thing or two about charity.

00:37 Meghan was also allegedly uncomfortable with the Prince and Princess of Wales holding a

00:41 higher status in the palace hierarchy.

00:44 You'll often hear people say, "Well, you're helping women find their voices."

00:48 And I fundamentally disagree with that.

00:50 So now this is where the claims get even nastier.

00:52 As we know, Meghan was an actress prior to joining the royal family.

00:56 So sources say that Meghan felt like she was a self-made woman, having built a career for

01:02 Whereas she felt Kate hadn't really had her own career.

01:05 So the source said, "She seemed to feel like she had more of a right to speak than her

01:09 sister-in-law, who had married into the family as an unknown, whereas Meghan regarded herself

01:14 as a philanthropist."

01:34 So majority of her adulthood has been spent with him.

01:38 Not to mention, success means different things to different people.

01:40 However, these allegations are simply from a royal insider and not the royal family.

01:45 Who knows what was really said, if anything at all.

01:48 Now we know there's been rumblings about a feud between Meghan and Kate over the years.

01:52 Omid Scobie previously wrote in his book, Finding Freedom, that Kate did not establish

01:56 a meaningful relationship with Meghan.

01:59 Reports also suggested that Meghan received a lukewarm reception from a more formal William

02:04 and Kate as a relationship with Prince Harry became serious.

02:08 So in Harry's book, Spare, he mentioned that when he first introduced Meghan to his brother,

02:13 Kate remained in the garden.

02:14 So that wasn't exactly the warm welcome that they had anticipated.

02:17 Of course, Omid's latest book, Endgame, Inside the Royal Family and the Monarchy's Fight

02:22 for Survival, makes even more comments about the apparent royal rift.

02:26 Harry and Meghan are currently facing a lot of backlash as they stay silent on some of

02:30 the more explosive accusations published, specifically regarding the comments two royals

02:35 allegedly made about their son, Archie.

02:38 So Meghan and Harry previously made these claims to Oprah during their 2021 Tell All

02:42 interview.

02:43 Meghan said there were conversations in the palace about Archie's skin colour.

02:51 However, they did not mention by name who made these comments.

02:55 But the Dutch version of Scobie's book revealed that the two royals were King Charles and

02:59 Kate Middleton, allegedly.

03:01 This allegation was only in the Dutch version and since it was released, Omid has apparently

03:05 insisted that he did not include the names.

03:08 So I'm not exactly sure what happened there, but these are some serious accusations.

03:11 The Royal Family has yet to publicly comment on any of the stories in the Endgame, which

03:16 is a business as usual approach for the firm, but apparently legal action is not off the

03:21 table.

03:22 According to sources, the final decision to take legal action lies with King Charles and

03:26 he apparently will not act hastily.

03:28 Sources close to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex tell the Daily Mail that Meghan never intended

03:33 for King Charles and Princess Kate to be identified in the book.
